The Amarillo Little Theatre Academy and AAA Electric invite you to travel “over the rainbow” as they present The Wizard of Oz. Based on the classic MGM movie musical and the book by L. Frank Baum, The Wizard of Oz is a classic musical enchanting families for generations.
Like so many girls her age, little Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams of what lies over the rainbow. When a twister hits her farm and carries her to the merry old land of Oz, Dorothy battles the Wicked Witch of the West and soon learns that “there’s no place like home.” Join Dorothy, her little dog Toto, the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion as they take Glinda's advice to follow the brick road in search of the mysterious Wizard of Oz. Will the Wizard grant them their hearts’ desires? Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West and her winged monkeys as you rediscover this fantastic musical treat for the whole family.
